Introduction:

Biochemical reactions require energy input to proceed. Whenever there is any reaction occurring inside the cell, the energy input is done by the splitting of ATP. Pyruvate oxidation is the process which connects glycolysis cycle with the rest of the cellular respiration process. Pyruvate oxidation is the next step after glycolysis thatacts as a source of energy, in the form of ATP.
