Introduction:

Magnification is described as the capability of a lens to amplify the object. It is the degree of visual enlargement that is expressed as a ratio of the size of the image to that of an object. It is measured by the multiples of $\text{2x}$ , $\text{4x}$ and $\text{10x}$ . The complete magnification of a microscope depends on the eyepieces and the objective lens.
