Summary Introduction

To write:

The benefits of consuming the placenta after giving birth by many female mammals.

Introduction:

The word ‘mammals’  is originated from the Latin word ‘mamma’ means ‘breast’. Mammals are covered with fur or hair. The characteristic feature of the mammal is that they feed their babies with milk which is produced by the mother’s mammary glands.

The ‘placenta’  is the temporary organ that is attached to the lining of the uterus during pregnancy. It provides oxygen and nutrients to the embryo and helps in removing other waste products and carbon dioxide. It produces hormones that help to grow and developing baby. It protects the embryo against some infection mostly and specifically bacteria, not against viruses, during the pregnancy. The placenta is connected to the fetus (or embryo) through the umbilical cord.
