Introduction: Plants are mainly multicellular, predominantly photosynthetic eukaryotes of the kingdom Plantae. The plants respond to touch and other mechanical stimuli in different ways based on the species and types of stimulus. Thigmomorphogenesis is a change in the growth form in response to mechanical stress.
