Concept introduction: Hydroponics is the method to grow the plants using mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent, without soil. In the hydroponically grown plants the root density is considerably very high than in most soil based plants. Hydroponic plants can develop a condition known as oxytropism in which roots avoid to grow in oxygen-deprived area, stagnant nutrient solutions, and overwatered hydroponic substrates.
