Question
Chapter 37.2, Problem 3CC
Summary Introduction
To determine: The adaptive advantage provided by the given seedling behaviour.
Introduction: Chemical signals which are transported within the body of a plant are known as plant hormones. Some of the examples of plant hormones are auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, ethylene, abscisic acid, and brassinosteroids. A simple hydrocarbon gas which is produced during the growth of the seedling, development of the flower, and ripening of the fruit is known as ethylene. Coordination of plant developmental and stress responses is done with the help of a plant hormone known as ethylene.
