The vitamins are of two types, “water-soluble” and “fat-soluble”. The water-soluble vitamins cannot be stored in water, as they are drained out of the body. They should be consumed daily in needed amounts.

“Water-soluble vitamins” include vitamin C and vitamin B complex: thiamin (B1), riboflavin and niacin they can dissolve in water and are not stored in the body. They are eliminated in urine, so these vitamins are required in the daily diet.
