How does wetness affect the resistance of your body?
To Explain: The way wetness affects the resistance of a body.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Resistance is the opposition to flow of charges in a conducting wire. It is a property of element which is introduced in a circuit or material of the conducting wire in itself. It is measured in ohms
Water is a good conductor of electricity. Current always flows through a path which offers minimum resistance. When body is wet, the resistance reduces. Thus, there is high chance of getting of electric shock when the body is wet.
Conclusion:
When body is wet, its resistance decreases.
