Summary Introduction
Acquired immune tolerance is the ability of the body to produce antibodies and T-cells against the non-self antigens (like microbial antigens), without responding to self-antigens. Some of these tolerances may develop earlier in embryonic life during the development of normal immune response (immunologic competence).
