Concept introduction:
The basic difference in the body plan of nematode and annelid is that the annelids are eucoelomate (having true coelom). On the other hand, the nematodes are pseudocoelomates (having false coelom). The annelids show true segmentation unlike nematodes. The nematodes are mostly parasitic. On the other hand, only some annelids are parasitic.
