Introduction:

About 33 % of the coral reefs are on the stage of extinction. Marine studies show that over the last decade there has been a loss of eighty percent of the coral reefs. Coral reefs are the backbone of the ecosystem as it provides shelter to many of the marine organism.

The main reasons for the destruction of coral reefs are reef bleaching, water pollution, poison fishing, sedimentation, and careless tourism. Due to the loss of these coral reefs, there is a constant loss of biodiversity. So, there is an urgent need to save these corals. Some ways of saving them are a proper use of pesticides and fertilizer, use of eco-friendly products, disposal of waste to the proper place, plant trees, and proper conservation.
