Concept Introduction:
AIDs is a kind of condition that influences the immune system of the body. It is caused by a virus called HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). HIV is a kind of retrovirus; the genome of HIV is a single-stranded ribonucleic acid (RNA) with various proteins enveloped around it. The single-stranded RNA is also enveloped by virus-specific protease and reverse transcriptase.
