To determine: The way by which microbial community dynamics in the photic zone impact the export of carbon to the seafloor or through the biological pump.
Introduction: The photic zone is the marine ecosystem, in which a variety of sea species are found that ranges from the microscopic unicellular to the multicellular largest eukaryotic organisms. All the species remain dependent on different types of food sources that may be phytoplanktons, zooplanktons, and small fishes. The microbes, however, act as the decomposer of the nutrients and recycle the nutrients inside the water.
