Introduction: Fatty acids are building blocks of fat in the bodies and in the food we eat. Fat accounts for about 80% of energy stored in the body. Most of the body fats are stored as adipocytes present beneath the skin. Digestion involves breaking down of complex fat into fatty acids, which is usually joined in three groups to form triglyceride.
