  • Example: Consider “DDDDDDDD” is a long series of repeated character.
    • The long string is compressed to “*D8”,
      • Where,”*” is a flag character which replaces a long sequence o repeated character.
      • “D” is a character which is repeated in a string.
      • “8” is the number of times that the character “D” is repeated in that string.
