Question
Chapter 3, Problem 4CT
Summary Introduction
To answer:
The effect of cells in the hypertonic state by the ions produced in the digestive tract under the influence of bacterial toxins. Also explain the effect of the patient’s water balance under a hypertonic state.
Introduction:
One of the remarkable functions of the cytoplasmic membrane is selective permeability. Depending upon the state of the cell, the nutrients are brought into the cell and the wastes are exported outside the cell. The passage of molecules inside and outside of the cell is under the control of the cytoplasmic membrane.
