Interpretation: The value of viscosity of crude oil is to be determined above which it will show laminar flow.

Concept introduction: Viscosity is the resistance to the motion of fluid which doesn’t allow it to move in a given direction.

The flow of a fluid is said to be Laminar when it is moving at a low speed with a streamline motion. The laminar flow can be shown by the Reynold’s number of a fluid.
