To explain: The reason for the fact that stratified epithelium provides more protection as compared to the simple epithelium.

Introduction: Tissues are a group of the cell which has the same structure and performs the same functions. Epithelial tissues are one of the major tissues found in the human body. These tissues provide protection from unwanted substances present in outer environment and help in exchange of substances between the inner and outer medium of the cell.
