Inheritance is a manner of transferring genes from parents to their offspring. Gregor Mendel gave the law of inheritance. He stated that two alleles show the inheritance, i.e., dominant and recessive. The genes which are expressed in a particular generation are dominant, and that is not able to express themselves in that generation are recessive.
