Interpretation:

The action of T cells to combat diseases has be determined.

Concept introduction:

T- Cells are a type of White Blood Cell that circulates around our bodies, scanning for cellular abnormalities and infections.

T- Cells are essential for human immunity. They naturally eradicate cancer cells.

It can activate and help other immune cells that ingest germs or that make anti-infection molecules called antibodies.

Types of T-Cells

T helper cells

Cytotoxic T cells

Memory T cells

Natural killer T-Cell: This type of T cells can destroy specific cells with antigens on their surface.

Helper T-cell: This type of T-cells coordinates the attack against pathogens along with killer T-cells.

Antigen is a protein on a foreign object that stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies. A virus, bacteria, toxin that trigger the immune response.
