West Nile virus (WNV) is a virus that infects birds and culicinae mosquitoes. This virus contains Ribonucleic acid (RNA). WNV can cause disease in humans and horses. Birds are the important transmitters of the virus. This virus spreads mostly in summers and continues until the end of fall. There are no vaccines available in markets to cure this disease.
