To analyze: The description of the ecologically important protists.
Introduction: Protists normally grow in wet surroundings and places like the river, sea, or extremely damp places. The examples of protists that are ecologically important include the photosynthetic protists and the symbiotic protists. The symbiotic protists live in useful association with other animals for examples the dinoflagellates and the coral polyps. The photosynthetic protists include the producers in the rivers and the oceans. They convert the carbon dioxide into energy compounds by the effect of the light during photosynthesis. The other category includes the slime molds, which degrade the materials in the soil.
