Introduction:
A large quantity of phosphate is present in the form of calcium phosphate. They are mainly found and help in the formation of bones and teeth. Its concentration is regulated by the excretion and reabsorption process. The kidney has the limited capacity to reabsorb the phosphate ions and it is completely based on the concentration of phosphate in the extracellular fluid.
