Introduction:

The vascular tissue present in the plant allows the transportation of nutrients and water by continuous pathway from the tip of the roots through stems into the veins of the leaves. The inner tissue that transports the water from the roots to the leaves is known as xylem and the outer tissue that transports the carbohydrates to the leaves and the other parts of the body is known as phloem.
