Introduction:

The sex chromosomes tend to be two types. X and Y chromosome. The Y chromosome is a male sex-determining chromosome, and it is usually smaller in size. The X chromosome is female sex-determining chromosome, and it is larger than the Y chromosome. During fertilization process, the X sperm fuses with egg to give rise to a XX chromosome, which develop into the female individual from the resulting zygote. If Y sperm fuses with the egg, then it will be an XY pattern, which gives rise to male individual development from the zygote.
