Chapter 27, Problem 7TYR
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Male gametes in humans are termed as sperms, which is produced by the seminiferous tubule in the testes. Spermatogonial mother cells divide mitotically, and the primary spermatocytes divide meiotically to produce immature spermatids. The immature spermatids are nurtured by the nurse cells in the testes. These nurse cells secrete a special type of hormone named inhibin that reduces the sperm production by seminiferous tubule indirectly.
