Chapter 27, Problem 3P
Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The time required to last 8 mM of ATP when ATP consumed by muscle is 300 μmol/min .The decrease in the concentration of the ATP before its complete consumption in the reaction needs to be determined.

Concept introduction:

The relation between ΔG and ΔG°' of the reaction is as follows:

  ΔG=ΔG°'+RT ln[product][reactant]

Here, R is Universal gas constant, T is temperature, [product] is concentration of product and [reactant] is concentration of reactant.

The reaction is spontaneous if the value of change in Gibbs free energy is negative.

Biochemistry Please help. Thank you What is the importance of glutamic acid in the metabolism of nitrogen from amino acids? (we know therole; it’s used to remove the nitrogen from amino acids so that the remaining carbon skeleton can bebroken down by the “usual” pathways, but what is the important, unique role that only glutamicacid/glutamate can do?)
