The reason behind the difference between the checking procedure of waste spark ignition coil and other types of ignition coils.
Answer to Problem 1SA
The reason for the difference between the checking procedure of waste spark ignition coil and other types of ignition coils is the presence of two spark plugs in the waste spark ignition coil.
Explanation of Solution
There are two spark plugs in the waste spark ignition coil out of which, one is in compression and the other is in exhaust stroke. In this, they both spark at the same time. Further, it has been seen that there is one coil between two cylinders while there are separate and specific coils in other types of ignition coils.
Conclusion:
Thus, the checking procedure of waste spark ignition coil is different from other types of ignition coils.
