Antibodies, a protective protein generated by immune cells in response to an antigen or infectious agents. The antibodies recognize the antigen and act on to eliminate it from the body. There are a wide range of substances considered as antigens such as toxic materials, disease-causing agents or pathogenic microorganisms.
