Introduction:

The tropism in plant shows the movement of plant in response to environmental stimuli. The plant usually shows their maximum growth towards the water and light because they need these sources for their growth. The tropism are usually two types: positive tropism and negative tropism. The plant show response to four different types of stimuli: phototropism (movement in response to light), gravitropism (towards gravity), thigmotropism (toward mechanical stimulation) and hydrotropism (toward water).
