Introduction:

Thermoregulation means the loss or gain of heat during metabolism to attain the homeostatic mechanism. It is maintained by the various organs such as thyroid gland, autonomous nervous system, skeletal muscles, brain, blood vessels, and skin. In long-term heat regulation, the white fat burns and gives energy to the body and serves warm temperature to the adult body. The brown fat present in the infants does not generate the ATP; it insults the body against the cold.
