Interpretation:
The final product obtained after emission six Alpha and four Beta particles in the thorium-232 radioactive decay series has to be determined.
Concept introduction:
Generally the unstable parent nucleus decays, and results in formation of stable daughter nucleus. If formed daughter nucleus is not stable they further decays and produce its own daughter nucleus. The process goes on until stable nucleus is formed.
This sequential decay of one nucleus after another is called a radioactive decay series.

Interpretation:
The equations for the first three steps in the thorium-232 decay series which involves an Alpha particle Beta particle and Beta emission has to be written.
