Interpretation:

Difference between the two forms of carbamoyl phosphate synthetase enzymes is to be determined.

Concept introduction:

Carbamoyl phosphate synthetase enzyme catalyzes the conversion of glutamine or ammonia and bicarbonate into carbamoyl phosphate. The reaction between ATP and bicarbonate to produce carboxy phosphate and ADP is catalyzed by this enzyme. This enzyme has three different forms, carbamoyl phosphate synthetase I, carbamoyl synthetase II, and carbamoyl synthetase III.
