The effect of damage to the filtration membrane on relative permeability of the membrane and on the substances that are filtered.
Concept introduction:
Filtration membrane allows movement of all plasma components through it but not filter blood cells, small protein molecules and it filters out large molecules of proteins, engulfs and degrades macromolecules which are caught in the membrane.
