Introduction:

The lymphatic system is a part of the vascular system and the immune system of the body. The lymphatic system contains several lymphatic cells that participate in fighting against the foreign agent or pathogens. Lymphatic cells function to elicit an immune response and are present in both the lymphatic system and the cardiovascular system. Lymphocytes, being the most abundant cells in the lymphatic system, function to migrate through the lymphatic system in search of antigens and consist of three types: T-lymphocytes, B-lymphocytes, and NK cells.
