Introduction:

Bile is partially a digestive secretion and partially an excretory product of the liver. It has an essential role in the emulsification process, which is breaking down of large lipid molecules to small lipid globules. Bile is made up of bile salts (bile acid's potassium and sodium salts). These salts assist in the absorption of lipids after their digestion.
