Introduction:

Incomplete dominance is a state when an allele for a specific trait is not completely expressed over its paired allele. As a result, a new phenotype is observed with a phenotypic trait which is a combination of the phenotypes of the two alleles. Codominance is a heterozygous state where both alleles express their gene products to generate a new phenotype.
