Summary Introduction
The genus Propionibacterium belongs to the order of Propionibacteriales. These bacteria are non-sporing, non-motile and pleomorphic in nature. These bacteria appear in club shape, one end is tapered whereas the other end is round. These members are used in the production of Swiss cheese. These members are aerotolerant or anaerobic in nature.
