The significance of Archaeopteryx and Tiktaalik.

Introduction:

Archaeopteryx is a genus of bird like dinosaurs which lived millions of years ago. It is the connecting link between dinosaurs and birds as it shares some characters of dinosaurs and some features are bird-like.

Tiktaalik roseae skeleton was deposited millions of years ago in rocks. Tiktaalik had several features in common with crocodile, fish, and tetrapods. Tiktaalik is also responsible for evolutionary transition from water to land.
