There are eleven organ systems in the body namely integumentary, nervous, circulatory, muscular, skeletal, lymphatic, respiratory, endocrine, urinary/excretory, reproductive and digestive. These organ systems are responsible for efficient functioning of the body. The functioning of each and every organ system is dependent on the functioning of other organ systems of the body. The organ systems together form a functional body.
