Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The creation of the pressure gradient in the lungs causes the movement of the air from the outside to the inside of the lungs. There are variations of pressure inside the lungs which causes the lowering of the atmospheric pressure. The pulmonary ventilation causes the changes of the pressure inside the lungs which obeys the Boyle’s law. A single respiratory cycle consists of the inspiration and expiration process which brings air inside the lungs and moves air out of the lungs.
