Chapter 23, Problem 21CP
Summary Introduction
To review:
The differences between the Henry's and Dalton's law with the practical application of each.
Introduction:
Dalton's law of partial pressure suggested that sum of all the pressures of the gases present in the mixture is the pressure exerted by the mixture of gases. Henry's law suggested that the quantity of gas, which is dissolved in the liquid is found directly proportional to the Pg (partial pressure of that particular gas).
