Question
Chapter 23, Problem 10CP
Summary Introduction
To review:
The parts of lungs: lobe, lobule, a medial surface, hilum, base, apex, cardiac notch, costal surface, and root.
Introduction:
Lungs are the main organs of the respiratory system. Exchange of gases occurs in this organ and it floats in the thoracic cavity. Pleural membrane protects the lungs from injury. Pleural cavity is present between the two pleurae.
