Explanation of Solution

Introduction:

Force is defined as the rate of change of momentum. It is a pull or push on an object which is the result of interaction of an object with another object.

Two blocks A and B are tied together with a rope of mass M . Block B is being pushed with a constant horizontal force as shown in figure. As there is no friction force between the blocks and table, system of blocks will move smoothly.

As the whole system is already in motion at this instant, when hand pushes block B it will move with constant acceleration and when rope will become tight, block A which was at rest also starts moving in the same direction.Block A, rope and Block B everything will move towards right as there is no friction between block and table.

Conclusion:

Thus, Block A, rope and Block B everything will move towards right as there is no friction between block and table.
