Concept explainers
To Describe: The motion of two pedestrians.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
A position time graph is the graphical representation of the motion of an object. In a position time graph, the position and time are plotted. The slope represents the velocity of the object.
The initial position of A and B is different. They are in opposite direction but start walking towards the same direction but with different speeds. The speed of A and B are equal as they have parallel slopes.
