Gastroenteritis involves the swelling of the gastrointestinal tract that is also known as diarrheal infection, which is commonly caused by the virus. Gastroenteritis is also caused by the bacteriaand fungus. The most common viral agents that cause gastroenteritis areastroviruses, caliciviruses,and rotaviruses.
