Introduction:

Fungi are found in almost all habitable environments. They interact with the species in different ways, some beneficial and some harmful. Some interactions are insignificant while some are important for the ecosystem and humans. If due to some deadly antifungal chemical, all the fungi are eliminated, there will be dire consequences for the world at large.
