The reasons that the women of childbearing age should begin taking precautions to prevent birth defects, even before a woman is pregnant.

Introduction:

Birth defects are any complication that occurs during pregnancy and results in a baby born with some developmental anomaly. They cannot always be prevented but care before pregnancy called prenatal care can bring down the chances of occurrence of birth defects.
