How does a follicle mature?
Introduction:
Follicles are defined as the fluid-filled structures found in the ovary of female reproductive system. Follicles have immature eggs, and at the time of ovulation thr follicles releases mature eggs. Ovarian follicles secrete hormones that help to maintain the stages of menstruation. Follicle releases one mature egg every fertilization. If fertilization does not occur, then the ovum is ruptured, and it marks the beginning of the menstrual cycle.
