Concept Introduction:
Congenital problem is a disease which is present from the time of birth. Congenital heart disease, Congenital pulmonary disease are some examples of such kind. Congenital problems can be detected in fetal development stage itself using computed tomography scan (CT) and radio diagnosis. Nursing interventions in congenital disease are much important because handling such cases needs a special type of training.

A toddler with a fracture of the left leg treated in the emergency department and then sent home.
Concept Introduction:
Toddlers are the group of children’s from 2-5 age-old. Children’s of this age group will be hyperactive and tend to play always. Toddlers have a risk of accident while playing and handling things as they don’t how to deal with it. Parental care is essential for such a group of children’s.

A school child, now in rehabilitation, with burns on both arms.
Concept Introduction:
School children of age group are collectively from 5 to 12. 5 to 8 age group children are said to primary schoolers and 9 to 12 are high school students. This is the age of learning and acquiring primary skills. School children are prone to accidents in higher rate due to the constant new learning process and skill development.

A 20 year old hospitalized for injuries resulting from an automobile accident after drinking alcohol.
Concept Introduction:
Individuals of age group 20 and above are said to be adults. They are fully matured enough to handle the issues and have better social interactions. These group individuals understand, interpret and execute the things based on prior experience and critical thinking than the younger age groups.
